Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Caspori cybersecurity platform ("Service") operated by Caspori ("we", "our", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Caspori, you confirm that you are at least 16 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

Caspori provides cybersecurity tools including:

  • Domain security scanning and vulnerability assessment
  • Remote Browser Isolation (Safe Browsing)
  • Digital footprint and exposure analysis
  • Compliance posture mapping
  • Threat intelligence aggregation
  • Secure Tunnel routing (when available)
  • REST API for programmatic access

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Caspori only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. Specifically, you must NOT:

3.1 Scanning and Security Testing

  • Scan domains or systems you do not own or have explicit written permission to test
  • Use scan results to exploit vulnerabilities in third-party systems
  • Conduct active exploitation, penetration testing, or attack simulations through our platform
  • Attempt to overwhelm target systems through excessive automated scanning

3.2 Digital Footprint and OSINT

  • Use the Digital Footprint (Explore) module to stalk, harass, or intimidate individuals
  • Collect personal data for purposes of discrimination, harassment, or illegal surveillance
  • Use OSINT data to build profiles for unauthorized marketing, spam, or phishing
  • Attempt to de-anonymize individuals against their will
  • Violate any applicable data protection laws when processing data obtained through our platform

3.3 Safe Browsing (RBI)

  • Use isolated browser sessions to access or distribute illegal content
  • Attempt to bypass the isolation boundary or escape the container environment
  • Use RBI sessions for automated scraping or bot activity at scale

3.4 General Prohibited Conduct

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service
  • Share your account credentials or API keys with unauthorized parties
  • Resell or sublicense access to the Service without written agreement
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
  • Use the Service for any activity that violates applicable laws or regulations

4. Accounts and Authentication

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and API keys. You must notify us immediately at contact@caspori.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

  • Free accounts are available with limited features as described on our pricing page.
  • Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually, depending on the plan selected.
  • Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your payment card details.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact contact@caspori.com for refund requests.

6. Data Ownership

You own your data. All scan results, reports, and configurations you create through Caspori remain your property. We do not claim ownership of your data.

You grant us a limited license to process your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service. This license terminates when you delete your data or close your account.

You may export your data at any time through the dashboard or API.

7. Service Levels

We strive to maintain high availability and performance. However:

  • The Service is provided on a best-effort basis. We do not currently offer formal SLA guarantees.
  • We perform scheduled maintenance during low-traffic periods and will notify users in advance when possible.
  • We are not liable for temporary service interruptions due to maintenance, infrastructure issues, or force majeure events.

8. Intellectual Property

The Caspori platform, including its design, code, features, and documentation, is our intellectual property. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or brand assets.

9. Third-Party Services

Caspori integrates with third-party services including Firebase Authentication, Stripe, and Cloudflare. Your use of these services is also governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Caspori is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
  • We do not guarantee that security scans will detect all vulnerabilities or that threat intelligence data is exhaustive.
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
  • Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Caspori harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms, your use of the Service, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

12. Termination

  • You may close your account at any time through the dashboard settings or by contacting us.
  • We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in prohibited conduct, or fail to pay for a paid subscription.
  • Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days to allow recovery, then permanently deleted.
  • Sections regarding liability, indemnification, and intellectual property survive termination.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and the applicable national laws of the jurisdiction where Caspori is registered. Any disputes shall be resolved through the courts of that jurisdiction.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through a notice on the platform at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
